TUSQ-NUTS alleviate the binding grip of the nut on the string and reduces friction between the nut material and the string. This is accomplished using a nut manufactured from an engineered resonant base material impregnated with Teflon.As strings move across a TUSQ-NUT, they shear open microscopic "capsules" loaded with millions of "ball bearing" type lubricants.
